ADS - Advanced Decision Support - is the DigiUtopiKA Lda. Research and Development Unit focused in supporting developments in the fields of Artificial Intelligence, Data Mining, Multi-Criteria Decision Making, Fuzzy Inference Systems, Intelligent Database Queries, Ergonomics Advanced Modeling Techniques, Intelligent Image Processing. Our approach includes the development of new methods, the adaptation of existing ones as well as the combination of different tools. This solution improves safeness, quality and cost- efficiency across many different fields of application, such as Health, Civil Protection, Security and  Enterprise Management.

Working in close collaboration with NISIM, a Software Research, Interaction e Multimedia Unit that belongs to DigiUtopikA Lda, the Advanced Decision Support Unit develops several projects, products and services all connected to artificial intelligence. Some of those projects and products are Virtual Clinic and the study for Auctions for Principal Investigators Activities Negotiations (APIAN).

Since its creation in 2002, DigiUtopikA Lda. has been involved with European organisations such as the European Space Agency (ESA), European Commission (EC), Galileo Joint Undertaking (GJU), amongst others which establish credibility and provide invaluable experience to the company in the development of national and international activities.

The Advanced Decision Support Unit of DigiUtopikA believes that unity is strength and accordingly considers it important to develop partnerships between industry or R&D so that together can develop new solutions that simplify the decision process.

In addition to existing projects, the ADS also develops solutions tailored to the needs of each organization contributing to the improvement of its performance and  consequent increase of the productivity.
